100% free - No signup - Just for fun - Same names always give the same score
A love compatibility calculator is a playful online tool that turns two names (and optionally two birthdates) into a fun match percentage. Ours goes further with a detailed mode that scores five relationship dimensions - communication, trust, adventure, romance and humor - using a deterministic formula, so the same names always return the same result.
Just for fun: this calculator is entertainment, not relationship advice. Real compatibility is built with communication, not percentages.

Frequently asked questions
Is this love compatibility calculator free?
Yes. Run as many name pairs as you like with no account, no limits and no watermarks. It works entirely in your browser.
Do you store the names or birthdates I enter?
No. All calculations happen on your device. Nothing is sent to a server, stored, or tracked in any way.
Can I use it for same-sex couples or friendships?
Absolutely. The calculator takes any two names, so it works for partners, crushes, friends, or even celebrity pairings - all just for fun.
What is the difference between Quick and Detailed mode?
Quick mode needs only two names and shows a single match percentage on a gauge. Detailed mode adds both birthdates and breaks the score into five dimensions: communication, trust, adventure, romance, and humor.
My score was low. Should I worry?
Not at all. The score is pure entertainment with no scientific basis. Real relationships are built on communication, respect, and shared effort - not on a percentage from a name formula.
How does the love compatibility calculator work?
Short answer: Short answer: type two names and the calculator hashes them into a fun match percentage shown on an animated gauge; detailed mode adds both birthdates and scores five dimensions - communication, trust, adventure, romance and humor - with animated bars. The formula is deterministic, so identical inputs always give identical results, and everything runs privately in your browser.
Quick mode is perfect for parties and group chats: type any two names and get an instant verdict, from "cosmic match" to "beautiful friendship energy". Detailed mode is the deeper cut, adding birthdates so each of the five dimensions gets its own hash-derived score and the overall percentage becomes their average.
Is a love calculator accurate?
Short answer: Short answer: no love calculator can measure real compatibility, because these tools are entertainment, not science. Genuine chemistry depends on communication, shared values, mutual effort and timing - things no name formula can see. Treat your percentage as a playful conversation starter, never as a verdict on your relationship or a basis for real decisions.
Psychologists who study relationships point to predictors like emotional responsiveness, conflict repair and shared goals. A name-based percentage captures none of that, which is exactly why we label every result "just for fun" and keep the tone light. Enjoy the score, then go have the real conversation.
Why do the same names always give the same score?
Short answer: Short answer: our calculator uses a deterministic hash formula (FNV-1a) instead of randomness, so identical inputs always produce identical results. That makes scores comparable: you and your friends can test name pairs fairly and get consistent answers every single time. Retyping the same names will never change the percentage.
Randomized calculators feel rigged because refreshing changes your "fate". Deterministic scoring removes that frustration: Alex + Sam scores the same today, tomorrow and on your friend's phone. It is still pure entertainment, but at least it is consistent entertainment.
