Working…
⚠️ The AI cutout didn't work on this photo, so we used your cropped photo as-is. It works best when the original background is light and plain — or retake against a white wall.
Your passport photo is ready
🖨️ Print tip: print at 100% scale (no "fit to page") on 4×6″ photo paper at 300 DPI — most labs and home printers handle this fine.
Frequently asked questions
Is it really free?
Yes — no signup, no watermark, unlimited photos. Everything runs in your browser.
Is my photo uploaded to a server?
No. Cropping, AI background removal and JPG export all happen on your device. Your photo never leaves your browser.
Which size do I need?
US visa/passport and India use 2×2 in (51×51 mm). UK, Schengen/EU and Pakistan use 35×45 mm. Canada uses 50×70 mm. When in doubt, check your application form — the exact size is always stated there.
Why does the background need to be white?
Almost every passport authority requires a plain white (or very light) background with no shadows. Our tool cuts you out and composites you onto pure white by default.
What if the AI cutout looks wrong?
It works best when your original photo already has a light, plain background and good lighting. If the cutout fails, we fall back to your cropped photo — retaking against a white wall gives the cleanest result.
Will authorities accept a home-made photo?
Home-printed photos are accepted as long as they meet the official specs (size, white background, recent, neutral expression, no shadows/glasses). This tool produces the correct pixel dimensions at 300 DPI — but always double-check your country's latest photo rules before submitting.
